Langtang Valley Trek - 10 Days

Just north of Kathmandu Valley, hugging the Tibetan border, lies the prominent region of Langtang. The Langtang Valley, a narrow gorge perfect for exploration of peaks, villages and gompas, was nearly destroyed by the 2015 Nepal Earthquake, and is currently in the verge of complete restoration.

This short trek takes place entirely within the confines of Langtang National Park. Where you’ll trek in the shadows of Langtang Lirung 7,234m, Langtang Ri 7,205m , and Dorje Lakpa 6,966m. You will explore the Kyanjin Gompa, sample locally produced Yak cheese, hike to Tsergo ri and Kyanjin ri and possibly catch a glimpse of a red panda or snow leopard during the trek.
